Immortals Progressive  vs Team Liquid 02/06/2022

Team Liquid still can’t field their full roster due to the green card issue that plagues CoreJJ, which will allow him to become a resident per the rules of the LCS. As a result, they’re running Academy support Eyla. While they haven’t shown the league their full power, they are plenty strong even without their superstar support. Both Bwipo and Hans Sama are explosive players that look for every edge in a game, while Bjergsen holds down the fort in the mid lane. Their loss to 100 Thieves before was mainly due to drafting issues and itemization, but we don’t think this will stop them from continuing their rampage on the LCS.

IMT Progressive are getting progressively worse as time goes by. Our analysts think they’re a good team on paper, but seem to have an identity crisis paired with drafts that are borderline war crimes, in game of course. Revenge specifically is allergic to picking meta top laners, and continues to draft himself into losing matchups that makes getting through medical school a breeze in comparison. We hope he shows promise in the coming weeks, because he may very well be the worst player in the entire LCS.

Prediction: Team Liquid should smash Immortals, no questions asked. Whereas IMT has no identity, Team Liquid already knows how they want to play and have already shown how good they are when they know their win conditions. The only way IMT finds a win is through draft blunders and itemization errors.
