FlyQuest are a middle-of-the-pack team and have proven they have potential to do well, but don’t have the necessary tools to reach the upper echelons of the league. The trio of Toucouille, Aphromoo and Johnsun are the core FlyQuest needs to build around to find success, and it works. However, they’re not top caliber players that can go against the likes of Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses. We think they’ll be happy to finish 5th or 6th place.
Golden Guardians are showing potential, with PrideStlker and Ablaze Olive rising to the occasion in a good way. We’ve only seen one game from their main roster, but it looks like the mid jungle duo will be the identity of this team with ADC Lost and support Olleh contributing as role players. We’re unsure how good Licorice will look, but he’s always been a solid role player throughout his stint in the LCS.
Prediction: This is a close one, but we want to believe in the new roster of Golden Guardians. We give Golden Guardians the win here, but wouldn’t be surprised if a close game resulted in a FlyQuest win.
