Golden Guardians VS Fly Quest 01/16/2022 – LCS Prediction

GGS played as we expected, coming out of their first day with a 0-2 record. The roster just doesn’t seem to have the star power needed in this year’s tournament to make any waves, especially with their academy roster. We don’t want to be too down on this roster, but everything from the bottom lane of Stixxay and Chime to top laner Tony Top looks subpar, even for academy standards.

FlyQuest has also looked abysmal in their first two games, and look to find some success in their match against GGS.

Prediction: Despite starting slow, we give FlyQuest a chance to beat GGS in this matchup solely due to the fact that they’re an LCS roster playing against lower talent even for academy standards. We’re not super confident in this choice because FlyQuest did drop a game against TSM’s academy squad, but we have to believe an LCS team should be better than this academy roster. If not, we’d urge FlyQuest to rebuild their roster before the start of the LCS season.
